On the first day of the season that remotely resembled a fall day, 16 of 22 Hilltoppers set lifetime personal records for XC 5k. Nate Kawalec won the individual title and set the course record by finishing with a time of 15:49.17 Tucker Keeney ran under 17 minutes (16:59.76) for the first time in his career. Freshman Anthony Zampino (17:03.87) finished 3rd for the Toppers and 11th overall in a field of 225 runners. Brian Horton (Jr, 17:07.07, 12th overall) and Brad Knez (Sr, 17:07.87, 13th overall) rounded out our top 5.
This course will also be the site of our District Championship on Sat, 10/20.
